In the production of finished products, masterbatch can improve the dispersion and tinctorial strength of pigments in the product, using the same plastic masterbatch with plastic can be more compatible and well dispersed in plastic products, thus improves product quality. In addition, comparing with the direct use of colors, using color masterbatch can guarantee the stability and consistency of product color.
Plastic is a polymer material, the shape of the molecule can be divided into two kinds: line and mesh. In general, plastic materials can be divided into two categories of "thermoplastics" and "thermosetting plastics". Thermoplastics is granular at normal temperature, it can be melted by heating to promote formation into a deformable state for shaping. Thermosetting plastic is generally powder or granular, after heating to a certain temperature it becomes a solid, even continueous heating after solidification can not change its state, therefore, thermosetting plastics can not be molded repeatedly by reheating so it can not be reused. However, mechanical properties, heat-pressure resistance and corrosion resistance etc. of thermosetting plastic are all superior than thermoplastics.
